David Bomzer is a Speaker at the NYC Bar's Intellectual Property Institute
David Bomzer will be a speaker at the New York City Bar Association's Intellectual Property Institute on March 24, 2025. David’s topic is Recent Developments in the Interplay between USPTO Patent Practice & District Court Litigation.
This year’s institute will provide a comprehensive overview of recent trends, developments, and cutting-edge issues in today’s intellectual property practice.
David is a thought leader in intellectual property, a frequent speaker on IP topics, and very active in industry associations. He serves on the Patent Committee of the NYC Bar, the executive team for each of the New York Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (NYIPLA), the Connecticut Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (CIPLA), the IP Committee for the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) and the Transactions Committee for the Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) Association.
David has served as both in-house and outside counsel to some of the largest and most recognizable Fortune 500 companies. In these positions, he has been responsible for developing, coordinating and executing all aspects of patent protection strategies among global teams of business and technology hubs. In addition, he has developed objectives and procedures for identifying and protecting high value technology assets, and organized and led teams of technology leaders, who assisted in coordinating enterprise-wide protection efforts. David also managed patent procurement efforts by in-house and outside counsel.
