Korean American Intellectual Property Bar Association (KAIPBA) seminar
Partner Sung Wook Kooh will attend the Biotech Intellectual Property Forum on March 21, 2024 in the greater Washington, D.C. area. This event is co-hosted by the Korean American Intellectual Property Bar Association (KAIPBA), the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) DC Chapter, the Korean-American Women in Science (KWiSE) NIH Chapter, and is sponsored by the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency (KOIPA) Washington, DC IP Center.
Dr. Kwan-Ho (Alex) Chung (Partner at Perkins Coie LLP) and Dr. Janice H. Logan (Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP) will present on the recent IP issues in biotechnology, and Mr. Steven M. Ferguson (Deputy Director of Licensing and Entrepreneurship at NIH Tech Transfer Office) will present the technology transfer effort at NIH. The program concludes with a career networking event with students, scientists, and engineers who might be interested in IP.
