IP Ethics Presentation for CLE Credits

Alison Caless will participate on the IP Ethics CLE panel for the IP section of the Connecticut Bar on December 3, 2019; 2 CLE Ethics credits are available in CT and NY. Alison is a member of the CBA's IP Section.
The program will examine exemplary ethical issues arising in intellectual property matters in depth, including ethical issues arising during trademark clearance and investigations, appropriate conflict-of-interest screening for in-house and outside counsel during patent prosecution, and ethical jury selection strategies for federal intellectual property litigation. Attendees will learn:
- A review of applicable ethical principles of law
- The application of these principles in the specific intellectual property situations
- Recent developments in ethics related specific intellectual property topics
