Cantor Colburn Launches IP Scholarship at UConn School of Law
On Oct. 5, Michael Cantor and Cantor Colburn hosted an event to launch the Cantor Colburn Scholarship at UConn School of Law. The scholarship is directed toward law students pursuing a career in IP/patent law. Michael Cantor is a UConn Law alumnus and teaches patent law as an adjunct professor at the law school. Steven Greenspan, Chief Litigation Counsel for UTC and President of the UConn Law School Foundation, and a UConn Law alumnus, discussed the importance of UConn Law’s graduates in the UTC workforce and in the region overall. Timothy Fisher, Dean of the Law School, discussed the vital role of scholarships in recruiting students and reducing student debt, and thanked Cantor Colburn for its leadership in raising funds to support IP careers and the Law School.
