Thomas Ryan has extensive experience in patent preparation and prosecution in a wide range of technology areas, including computer hardware and memory systems, communications, optics, mechanical technologies, and electrical technologies. Tom’s current practice involves patent preparation and prosecution primarily in computing, automotive and energy industry fields, including various facets of oil and gas exploration and production industry fields, as well as the preparation of infringement and patentability opinions. Energy industry field technology areas for which Tom has experience include drilling systems, and subterranean measurement systems such as electromagnetic, nuclear, phased array acoustic and radar, and resistivity measurement systems.
