Cantor Colburn Partner Charles O'Brien will present an introductory workshop on IP basics for business owners, "Intellectual Property for Business Owners," coordinated by the Greater Hartford Chapter of SCORE on November 7, 2018 in Simsbury, Connecticut.

This free workshops will help entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the world of patents and patent ownership, which can be complex for the uninitiated. This workshop will include an overview of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets; patent ownership; protection; commercialization; and more.

Charlie is a partner at Cantor Colburn and leads the IP Transactional Practice Group. He is also a litigator who is admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
