Intro to Intellectual Property
presented by Greater Hartford SCORE
Cantor Colburn Partner Charles O'Brien and Henkel Patent Counsel Taylor Coon will present an introductory workshop on IP basics to the Greater Hartford Chapter of SCORE on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 9-11AM at the Institute of Technology & Business Development in New Britain, Connecticut.
This free workshops will help entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the world of patents and patent ownership, which can be complex for the uninitiated. This workshop will include an overview of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets; patent ownership; protection; commercialization; and more.
Charlie is a partner at Cantor Colburn and leads the IP Transactional Practice Group. He is also a litigator who is admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Taylor Coon, an alumna of Cantor Colburn, is a patent attorney with a chemical engineering degree and additional experience in litigation support and trademarks.
